Turning your passion into a profession

Kingson is a wildlife photographer who participated in the Serengeti Balloon Safari program .

He is from the southeastern part of Tanzania. Nevertheless, he fell in love with photography in Dar es Salam.

For Kingson, wildlife photography is an opportunity to see and experience things that we sometimes take for granted.

Wildlife photography gives an appreciation for the world that we live in. It provides me with some wonderful memories and photographs that I can share with others. That I fell in love with each.
— Kingson

He wanted to be a wildlife photographer, but he ran into many obstacles, one of them being the high cost of safaris. Therefore, when he saw the opportunity to apply to the Wildlife Photography AFRISOS Program, he did not hesitate to do so. Kingson couldn't believe being selected.

After the program, his work has been reposted by important sectors such as Canon Africa and Tanzania National Park. He has also won several awards such as second place in Tanzania Pori Photo Competition 2022. Now he is currently a full time wildlife photographer.
